Jamila & The Other Heroes are very energetic and so are their concerts just as their self-description implies: funkadelic. Jamila Al-Yousef’s band combines people and genres from different parts of the Middle East: from Neo soul and funk to rocking Arabic folklore. The debut EP “Change” was celebrated with a release tour in June – in August, they will shake Fuchsbau Festival as opening act.
